Acen Gifty II
Gifty has a love for learning and desire to help others grow. She dreams of becoming a teacher one day. Gifty enjoys playing any game that involves a ball, eating beans and posho (cooked cornmeal), and helping around the house. Her parents are small-scale farmers who care not only for their seven children, but also for a grandparent. Though they work hard, providing basic necessities is a constant challenge, and at times the children have had to miss school when they couldn’t pay the fees. Gifty is eager to remain in school and be a model for other children.
