Leilah is a kind, compassionate girl who's always looking out for the people around her. She's set her sights on becoming a doctor, and in her free time she loves cycling, singing, dancing, swimming, and telling stories. Things aren't easy at home - her father takes whatever work he can find to support the family, and money is often tight enough that meals get missed and school gets interrupted. They live in a small rented space with little room or privacy. Even so, Leilah's faith keeps growing, and she holds onto hope for what's ahead.
