Kwagala Gladys Joy
Kwagala’s life began with circumstances no child should have to face. As a toddler, she was found abandoned in a trash pit and rescued by a woman living in Kyabakuza who took her home and became her mother. They now share a small home, facing ongoing challenges, including health needs and the daily uncertainty of having enough food to eat. Yet Kwagala is cheerful, inquisitive, and eager to learn. Hope Alive! has given her the opportunity to attend school and discover what is possible. She loves stories, singing, dancing, and playing with friends—and dreams of one day becoming a pilot.
