Migadde Shirat
Shirat lives with her mother and stepfather in a blended family where limited resources make meeting everyone’s needs difficult. Her stepfather relies on small-scale farming, but with little income, his support is often focused on his biological children, leaving Shirat with limited opportunity for school. Despite these challenges, Shirat is thoughtful and caring. She enjoys reading stories, playing with friends, and helping younger children with their schoolwork. She dreams of becoming a health worker.
