Tendo is a sociable girl who enjoys singing, dancing, and helping with most household chores. She does not enjoy fetching water or being alone. Her favorite meal is rice and beef. She has special needs and has some difficulties with speech and movement. She lives with her father, who works as a porter and also does small-scale farming to meet their basic needs and care for her. Her mother left the family after learning about Tendo’s health challenges. Tendo wants to be a doctor when she grows up.
