Tendo’s mother left the family after learning about her health challenges, leaving her father to care for her while working as a porter and small-scale farmer. They live in Kyabakuzai. Tendo has difficulties with speech and movement, but she is sociable, joyful, and able to learn. She loves singing, dancing, and helping with household chores. Tendo dreams of becoming a doctor
