Nakayiwa Lyton
Lyton is the youngest of seven children in a family that depends on small-scale farming to meet its needs. When the family cannot afford school fees, Lyton has sometimes had to leave school, interrupting her education. Yet she remains compassionate and eager to learn. She enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with friends, and she is especially known for caring for others when they are sick. Lyton dreams of becoming a doctor—an opportunity to turn her natural compassion and love for others into a life of caring for those in need.
