Wanda Elvis
Elvis, who lives in Koch Lii, is growing up in an extended family after circumstances left his mother raising him without the support of his father. His mother is deaf and has limited ability to provide for the family, while other relatives have limited capacity to help. Elvis was born with six fingers, and cultural beliefs surrounding this have added to the challenges his family has faced. Yet Elvis is kind, helpful, and eager to learn. He enjoys soccer and helping in the garden. He dreams of becoming a police officer and building a future where he can serve and protect others.
