Yiga Alex
Alex has a caring heart and dreams of becoming a farmer someday. He loves soccer, dancing, and going to church, and rice with cabbage is his favorite meal. His cheerful spirit comes through even with everything his family is facing. His father is seriously ill, and much of what the family earns goes straight to medical costs, leaving little over for anything else. His mother works hard to hold things together, and Alex is hopeful that getting back to school will help him grow into the future he's imagining.
