Akena Lawrence
Lawrence is one of seven children living in Koch Lii in a family that depends on small-scale farming to meet its needs. He also lives with epilepsy, adding another challenge as he works to stay focused on his education. Despite this, Lawrence is a committed student who enjoys his studies and playing soccer. Lawrence is still discovering what he wants to become, but the opportunity to continue his education gives him room to explore his interests, develop his abilities, and imagine a future beyond the circumstances he knows today.
