Join us For Stories That Send us Forward
You are part of the Hope Alive! family. Your support is making stories of hope possible for children and families across Uganda. While some of those stories are shared directly by students in their letters, the people who walk alongside them each day often see more—the challenges they face, the progress they make, and the ways God is at work in their lives. That’s why we created Stories That Send Us Forward: to give you a chance to hear more of these stories and connect with some of the people who are part of them.
We'd love for you to join us from wherever you are for an online conversation hosted by Executive Director Caleb Smagacz. He'll be chatting with Carol Ajwang, Hope Alive!’s Country Manager, and Odong Walter, a former Hope Alive! student who now serves as the Assistant Site Manager in Koch Lii.
Carol will share from her 15 years of serving children and families through Hope Alive!, and Walter will share a little of his own story and some stories of God’s faithfulness to the children and families in Koch Lii. We'll have opportunities for you to send in questions for Caleb, Carol and Walter.
We’ll meet through Google Meet, a simple online meeting platform similar to Zoom. It allows us to gather by video and conversation from wherever we are. Here are the details:
