We Love Visitors!
We had visitors! A team from First Baptist Church Tuscaloosa (AL), including university students from multiple states, visited our Koro site to help lead activities during students’ school holiday and encourage our students in their faith. One Saturday, local teachers assessed students to recommend where additional support was needed. Then, the team organized academic tutoring for the following week. Younger students practiced phonics, while older students read stories aloud and practiced comprehension skills. They all did math and critical thinking activities too. Additionally, leaders and children played fun games, made crafts, learned Bible verses and studied the Bible daily! We love having visitors to help us with our events and pour into our students!
