At Hope Alive!, sponsorship is more than paying school fees. It is a long-term partnership that provides educational opportunities, discipleship, caring relationships, and family support that can impact generations. 

What Sponsorship Makes Possible

EDUCATION that opens doors

Hope Alive! pays school fees along with uniforms, scholastic materials, and academic support so students can remain in school and pursue their God-given potential. This includes a meal during the school day where available.

MENTORSHIP that shapes character

Every student is surrounded by caring adults who know them and their families personally, encourage them, celebrate milestones, and walk with them through life's challenges.

DISCIPLESHIP that builds faith in Jesus

In Saturday Club and other settings, students gather for worship, Bible teaching, small groups, prayer, and meaningful relationships that help them grow in their understanding of Jesus and His love for them.

FAMILY SUPPORT that creates stability

Parents and caregivers are offered encouragement, mentoring, training, community savings groups and other opportunities to strengthen families and help create healthier, more stable homes.

The Sponsorship Journey

AWARENESS

Hope Alive! becomes aware of a fragile family struggling to afford education and meet basic needs. We receive referrals through our relationships with local churches, schools, community leaders, and neighbors for families who would benefit from Hope Alive!'s ministry.

ENROLLMENT

A child is enrolled at one of our ministry sites where both the student and caregiver become part of the Hope Alive! community.

SPONSORSHIP

An individual, family, church, business, or small group chooses to sponsor an enrolled student.

PARTICIPATION

Students and caregivers actively participate in Hope Alive!'s ministry throughout their sponsorship journey.

COMPLETION

Every student's journey is unique.

Hope Alive! helps each student pursue the educational pathway best suited to their gifts, abilities, and opportunities. Most students complete sponsorship after earning an associate-level diploma, vocational certification, or another equivalent post-secondary qualification that prepares them for meaningful employment and greater independence.

By the time a student completes their journey with Hope Alive!, our prayer is that both the student and their family have experienced lasting educational, relational, economic, and spiritual transformation.

Your Role as a Sponsor

As a sponsor, you become an important part of a student's story. You'll receive updates about your sponsored student, opportunities to send letters and encouragement, and invitations to celebrate milestones throughout their journey. While your financial support opens doors to education, your prayers and encouragement remind a child they are known, loved, and seen.
