Is the Strategic Partnership Fund the same as a General Fund?

Yes. The Strategic Partnership Fund is Hope Alive!'s unrestricted, ministry-wide fund. It supports the essential leadership, staff, ministry systems, and resources that make our mission possible. 

Do I have to sponsor a child first?

No. Many Strategic Partners choose this pathway because they believe deeply in the mission of Hope Alive! and want to strengthen the ministry as a whole.

Why not just sponsor?

Please do! Sponsorship is one of the most powerful ways to invest in a family's future--but it isn't every supporter's calling. The Strategic Partnership Fund multiplies the impact of sponsorship by equipping staff, developing leaders, strengthening accountability, and providing the resources needed to serve every child and family well.

How can I become a Strategic Partner?

Anyone can become a Strategic Partner by making a one-time or recurring gift of any amount to the Strategic Partnership Fund. Some partners give monthly, others annually, and many make one-time gifts. Hope Alive! also gratefully accepts donor-advised fund grants, Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), stock gifts, and other planned gifts.

How are Strategic Partnership gifts used?

Strategic Partnership gifts support the ministry-wide needs that allow Hope Alive! to serve with excellence. This includes staff and leadership development, volunteer training, technology, communications, financial stewardship, accountability, compliance, and other essential ministry expenses.
